An Angel Visits Mary

One day about 2,000 years ago an angel named Gabriel appeared to a young Jewish woman named Mary. Gabriel told Mary she would have a son, Jesus, who would be the Son of God! Mary was confused and worried about this sudden news, but she had faith in God and said, "I am the Lord's servant; let it be as you say."

Journey to Bethlehem

Mary and her husband-to-be, Joseph, lived in a town called Nazareth. But they had to travel to the city of Bethlehem to register for a census ordered by the Roman emperor, Caesar Augustus. Both Nazareth and Bethlehem are in the country now called Israel. It is about 65 miles (105 km) from Nazareth to Bethlehem, and the trip probably took them several days. When Joseph and Mary got to Bethlehem, there was no place for them to stay because the inn was already full. They ended up spending the night in a stable, a place where animals were kept. There was probably fresh hay on the floor that they used for beds. That night, Jesus was born. There was no crib, so they laid baby Jesus in a manger, a feeding trough for animals. The manger probably had fresh hay in it and made a nice bed for the baby.

Shepherds Visit Jesus

That night, some shepherds were in the fields near Bethlehem, keeping watch over their flocks of sheep. An angel appeared to them and gave them the good news that a Savior, the Messiah, had been born. The angel told the shepherds they could find Jesus lying in a manger. Suddenly a whole group of angels appeared saying, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!" The shepherds hurried into Bethlehem and found Jesus in the manger, just as the angel had told them. After they had seen Jesus, they spread the news, and everyone who heard was in awe.

Wise Men Visit Jesus

Sometime later, wise men, or magi, from eastern countries saw a star in the sky that signaled the birth of a new king. They came to Judea, the region around Jerusalem and Bethlehem, to worship Jesus, the new king. A man named Herod was the king of Judea. He called the wise men to a meeting and told them to find the new king so he could go and worship him, too. The wise men continued on to Bethlehem and followed the star until it was directly above the house where Jesus was. They found Mary and Jesus in the house and knelt down to worship Him. They brought Jesus gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh, some of the finest things in the ancient world. Frankincense was burned to make a sweet smell, and myrrh was an expensive perfume. After visiting Jesus, the wise men had a dream that warned them not to go back to King Herod, so they took a different route home.

Journey to Egypt

King Herod lied when he told the wise men he wanted to worship Jesus. He was afraid this new "king" would replace him as king of Judea. He did not understand that Jesus would grow up to be king of God's spiritual kingdom, not king of Judea. What Herod really wanted was to find Jesus and kill Him! Herod was furious when he realized the wise men had not come back to tell him where to find Jesus. He sent his soldiers to Bethlehem to kill all the children less than two years old, thinking Jesus would certainly be one of the ones killed. But God had told Joseph in a dream to flee to Egypt. Joseph took Mary and Jesus to live in Egypt where they would be safe from Herod. Joseph, Mary and Jesus stayed in Egypt until Herod had died, and then they returned to Nazareth.

வாழ்க்கையின் அர்த்தமென்ன?

நோக்கத்தை எப்படி கண்டுபிடிப்பது வாழ்க்கை நிறைவேறுதல், வாழ்வின் திருப்தி இவைகளை கண்டு பிடிப்பது எப்படி? நிலைத்திருக்கிற பொருளுள்ள, ஒரு வாழ்க்கையைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்வதற்கு, எனக்குள் திறமையிருக்கிறதா? அநேகர் வாழ்க்கையின் அர்த்தத்தை கண்டுப் பிடிப்பதற்கு தொடர்ந்து முயற்சி செய்து கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள். கடந்த காலங்களை எண்ணிப்பார்த்து, ஏன் என் வாழ்வில் விரிசல்? ஏன் நான் வெறுமையாக உணருகிறேன்? நான் நினைத்ததை ஒருவேளை சாதித்தாலும், ஏன் எனக்குள் இவைகள் நடைபெறுகிறது என்று சொல்லி ஆச்சரியப்படுகிறார்கள். ஓரு முறை, ஒரு பேஸ்பால் (Base Ball) விளையாடுபவரிடத்தில் முதலாவது விளையாடத் தொடங்கினபோது, விளையாட்டின் புகழ் உச்சக் கட்டத்தில் ஒருவர் உங்களிடம் என்ன சொல்ல வேண்டுமென்று, எதிர்பார்ப்பீர்கள் என்று சொல்லி கேட்பார்கள். அதற்கு அவர் நான் புகழின் உச்சியில் வரும்பொழுது, ஒன்றுமே இல்லை என்பதை சொல்வதற்கு ஒருவர் வேண்டும் என்று எதிர்பார்க்கிறேன் என்று பதிலளித்தார். அநேகருடைய முயற்சிகள் பல ஆண்டுகள் கழித்து, அவர்களுடைய நோக்கங்கள் ஒன்றுமில்லை என்பதையே நிருபிக்கிறது.

மனித சமுதாயத்தில் வாழ்க்கையின் அர்த்தத்தை கண்டுபிடித்துக் கொள்ளலாம் என்று எண்ணி அநேகர், அநேக முயற்சிகளில் ஈடுபடுகிறார்கள். அப்படிப்பட்ட முயற்சிகளில், இவைகள் அடங்கும், வியாபாரத்தில் வெற்றி, செல்வம் தேடுதல், நல்ல உறவை பராமரித்தல், பொழுது போக்கு நற்கிரியைகள் செய்தல் மற்றும் பால் இன காரியங்களில் ஈடுபடுத்திக் கொள்ளுதல் போன்றவைகள். இந்த முயற்சிகளில் அவர்கள் வெற்றி அடைவது போல காணப்பட்டாலும், அவர்களுக்குள் ஆழமானதொரு வெற்று உணர்வு இருப்பதாக சாட்சி கூறுகிறார்கள். அதாவது ஒரு நிறைவுமே இல்லாதது போன்ற ஒரு உணர்வு மட்டுமே மிஞ்சிஇருக்கிறது. பரிசுத்த வேதாகமத்தில், பிரசங்கியின் புத்தகத்தை எழுதியவர், இந்த உணர்வை வெளிப்படுத்தும்போது, மாயை, மாயை எல்லாம் மாயை என்று சொல்கிறார்: இந்த ஆக்கியோனிடத்தில் அளவுக்கதியமாக செல்வமிருந்தது. அவரது காலத்திலே வாழ்ந்த எந்த ஒரு மனிதனைக் காட்டிலும் அவனுக்கு ஏராளமான மனைவிகள் இருந்தார்கள். மற்ற இராஜ்ஜியங்கள் பொறாமைப்படத்தக்க அளவில். அரண்மணைகளும், தோட்டங்களும் இருந்தது. புசிப்பதற்கு சிறந்த உணவும், குடிப்பதற்கு நல்ல திராட்சை ரசமும் மற்றும் எல்லா களியாட்டங்களையும் உடையவராயிருந்தார். ஒரிடத்தில் இப்படியாக என் மனம் விரும்பின ஒன்றையாகிலும் நான் தடை செய்ததில்லையென்று சொல்கிறார். தன் காரியங்களைக்காட்டி மொத்தமாக சொல்லும் பொழுது, “சூரியனுக்குக் கீழே நான்படும் பிரயாசங்கள், (கண்களால் பார்ப்பதும், புலன்களால் அனுபவிப்பது மட்டுமே வாழ்க்கை என்று கருதுகிறோம்). எல்லாம் மாயை, ஏன் இந்த வெறுமை? ஏனென்றால், நாம் அவ்வப் பொழுது இங்கு அனுபவிக்கிற எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் மேலாக, ஒரு நோக்கத்தோடு தேவன் நம்மை சிருஷ்டித்தார்.” சாலமோன் தேவனைக்குறித்து இப்படியாக சொல்கிறார்.

“மனிதன் இருதயத்திற்குள் நித்தியத்தை வைத்திருக்கிறார் என்று சொல்கிறார். அவ்வப்போழுது நாம் அனுபவிக்கிறவைகளோடு காரியம் முடிந்துவிடவில்லை என்பது இருதயத்திற்கே தெரியும். பரிசுத்த வேதாகமத்தின் முதல் புத்தகமாகிய ஆதியாகமத்தில் தேவன் மனிதனை தனது சாயலாகவே சிருஷ்டித்தார் என்று காண்கிறோம். (ஆதி. 1:6) அதாவது நாம் தேவனைப் போலவே இருக்கிறோம். வேறு எந்த விதத்திலும் மற்றனதப்போலவோ, மற்றவைகளைப் போலவோ இல்லை. அது மாத்திரமல்ல, மனிதன் பாவத்தில் விழ்ந்து, சாபம் பூமிக்கு மேல் வருவதற்கு முன்பாக கீழே கொடுக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிற இவைகளெல்லாம் உண்மையானவைகள் என்பதை காண்கிறோம்.

1. தேவன் மனிதனை சமுதாயத்தில் உள்ள ஒரு ஜீவனாகவே படைத்தார்

     (ஆதி.2:18-25).

2. தேவன் மனிதனுக்கு வேலை கொடுத்தார்.

3. தேவன் மனிதரோடு நல்ல உறவு வைத்திருந்தார் 

    (ஆதி. 3:8).

4. தேவன் பூமியிலுள்ளவைகளின் மேல் மனிதனுக்கு அதிகாரத்தைக் கொடுத்தார்.

     (ஆதி. 1:26).

இவைகளுடைய முக்கியத்துவமென்ன? நம்முடைய வாழ்க்கையின் நிறைவேற்றுதலுக்கு, இவைகள் அவசியமானவைகள் என்பதை, வேன் திட்டமிட்டிருந்தார் என்றே நான் விசுவாசிக்கிறேன். ஆனால் மனிதன் விழ்ச்சியினிமித்தமாக (மனிதன் தேவனோடு வைத்திருந்த உறவில்) மனிதன் மிகவும் பாதிக்கப்பட்டான். பூமியின் மேல் சாபம் வந்தது.( ஆதி.3)

வேதாகமத்தின் கடைசிப் புத்தகமாகிய வெளிப்படுத்தல் விஷேசத்தில், கடைசி நாட்களில் நடைபெறும் எல்லா சம்பவங்களையும். வெளிப்படுத்தின பின்பு நாம் அறிந்திருக்கிறபடி, இந்த பூமியையும் இந்த வானத்தையும் அழித்து புதிய வானத்தையும், புதிய பூமியையும் உண்டாக்கி, அதை நித்தியமாக நிலைநிறுத்துவார் என்று வெளிப்படுத்துகிறதைப் பார்க்கிறோம். அப்பொழுது மனிதனோடு தேவன் கொண்டிருந்த பரிபூரணமான உறவை மீண்டுமாக மீட்டுத்தருவார். பாத்திரமற்றவர்களாக தீர்க்கப்பட்டவர்கள், அக்கினிக் கடலிலே போடப்படுவார்கள். (வெளி. 20:11-15) சாபமானது நீக்கப்படும், இனி பாவமிராது, துக்கமில்லை, வியாதியில்லை மரணமில்லை வேதனையில்லை (வெளி. 21:4) விசுவாசிகள் இவைகளெல்லாவற்றையும் சுதந்தரித்து கொள்வார்கள். தேவன் அவர்களோடு வாசமாயிருப்பார். அவர்கள் அவருடைய குமாரனாயிருப்பார்கள். (வெளி.2:7). இப்படியாக தேவன் உண்டாக்கின இந்த உறவின் வளையத்துக்குளே மனிதன் மீண்டுமாக வருகிறான். மனிதன் பாவஞ்செய்து தேவனோடுள்ள உறவை இழந்தான். தேவன் யாரெல்லாம் பாத்திரவான்களாக இருந்தார்களோ, அவர்களுக்கு நித்தியமாக இந்த உறவை மீட்டுக் கொடுத்தார். ஆகவே எதையாவது, எல்லாவற்றையாவது கற்றுக்கொள்ள முயற்சிப்பது என்பது மரணமானது நித்தியத்தினின்று தேவனை பிரித்ததைப் பார்க்கிலும், மேலானதும், பயனற்றதுமாக இருக்கும். ஆனால் தேவன் நித்தியமான சந்தோஷத்தை பெற்றுக் கொள்ளும் படியாக அந்த வாழ்க்கையை பயனுள்ளதும், திருப்தி நிறைந்ததுமாக மாற்றியிருக்கிறார். இப்பொழுது எப்படியாக நித்திய சந்தோஷத்தையும், பூமிலே மேலான வாழ்வு என்பதையும் பார்ப்போம்.

இயேசுகிறிஸ்து மூலமாக மீட்டு கொடுக்கப்பட்ட அர்த்தமுள்ள வாழ்க்கை:

மேலே குறிப்பிட்டது போல, உண்மையான அர்த்தமுள்ள வாழ்வு இப்பொழுதும் நித்தியத்திலும். தேவனோடுள்ள உறவை மீட்டு கொள்வதன் மூலமாகவே பெற்று கொள்ள முடியும். இந்த உறவை ஆதாமும், ஏவாளும் பாவஞ் செய்ததினிமித்தமாகவே, அந்த உறவை இழந்து போனார்கள். இன்றைய நிலையில் தேவனோடு உள்ள அந்த உறவை அவருடைய குமாரனாகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்து மூலமாக பெற்றுக்கொள்வது சாத்தியமாகிறது. (அப்.11:12,யோ. 14:6, யோ.1:12) ஒரு மனிதன் மனந்திரும்பும் பொழுது, அதாவது ஒருவனோ ஒருத்தியோ. புhவத்தில் வாழ்கிறதை விரும்பாமல் கிறிஸ்துவினால் பெரிய மனுஷனாக அல்லது மனுஷியாக மாற விரும்பும் பொழுது நித்திய ஜீவனை அவன் ஆதாயம் செய்து கொள்கிறான் அல்லது கொள்கிறாள். இயேசுவே இரட்சகரென்று அவரை சார்ந்து கொள்ள துவங்குகிறார்கள்.

இயேசுவே இரட்சகர் என்று அறிந்து கொள்வதினால் மாத்திரம் வாழ்க்கையின் முழு அர்த்ததை அறிந்து கொள்வதில்லை. அவரைக் கற்றுக்கொள்வதன் மூலமாக, பரிசுத்த வேத வசனங்களைத் தியானிப்பதின் மூலமாக அவரது வார்த்தைக்கு கீழ்ப்படிந்து அவரோடு நடப்பதின் மூலமாக வாழ்க்கையின் அர்த்தத்தைக் கண்டுகொள்கிறோம். ஒருவேளை நீங்கள் அவிசுவாசியாயிருந்து, இப்பொழுது இயேசுவை ஏற்றுக் கொண்டவராக இருக்கலாம். இவைகள் உங்களுக்கு நீங்கள் எதிர்பார்த்த பலனை அல்லது நிறைவை தராததுபோலிருக்கலாம். மேலேயுள்ளவைகளை தயவுசெய்து வாசியுங்கள். இயேசு சொல்கிறார் வருத்தப்பட்டு பாவஞ்சுமக்கிறவர்களே, நீங்களெல்லாரும் என்னிடத்தில் வாருங்கள். நான் உங்களுக்கு இளைப்பாறுதல் தருவேன். நான் சாந்தமும் மனத்தாழ்மையுமாயிருக்கிறேன், என் நுகத்தை உங்கள் மேல் ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு, என்னிடத்தில் கற்றுக் கொள்ளுங்கள். அப்பொழுது உங்கள் ஆத்துமாக்களுக்கு இளைப்பாறுதல் கிடைக்கும். என் முகம் மெதுவாயும், என் சுமை இலகுவாயிருக்கிறது (மத். 11:28-30, யோ. 10:10) நானோ அவைகளுக்கு ஜீவன் உண்டாயிருக்கவும், அது பரிபூரணப்படவும் வந்தேன். ஒருவன் என்னைப் பின்பற்றிவரவிரும்பினால், அவன் தன்மைத்தான் வெறுத்து தன் சிலுவையை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு என்னைப் பின்பற்றக் கடவன். தன் ஜீவனை இரட்சிக்க விரும்புகிறவன் அதை இழந்துபோவான். தன் ஜீவனை இழந்து போகிறவன், அதை கண்டடைவான். (மத்.16:24,25) கர்த்தரிடத்தின் மனமகிழ்ச்சியாயிரு, அவர் உன் இருதயத்தின் வேண்டுதல்களை உனக்கு அருள் செய்வார்.

இந்த வேத வசனங்களெல்லாம் நாம் தெரிந்து கொள்வதைப் பொறுத்தே, வாழ்க்கை அர்த்தமுள்ளதாகிறது. நாம் தொடர்ந்து நம் வாழ்க்கைக்கு நாமே வழிகாட்டலாம் (அதன் பெலன் வெறுமையான வாழ்வு) அல்லது தேவனைப் பின்பற்று வதற்கு நாம் தெரிந்து கொள்ளலாம். அதாவது தேவ சித்தத்திற்கு நம்மை முற்றிலுமாக அர்ப்பணித்து வாழலாம். (அதன் பலனாக பரிபூரணமாக வாழ்க்கையையும், இருதய வாஞ்சை நிறைவையும் பெற்றுக் கொள்கிறோம். ஏனென்றால், நம்மை உண்டாக்கின நமது தேவன் நம்மை நேசிப்பது மாத்திரமல்ல, நமக்கு மிகவும் சிறந்ததையே கொடுக்க விரும்புகிறார். (இலகுவான வாழ்க்கை என்பதைக் காட்டிலும், நிறைவான வாழ்க்கை தருகிறார்)

இறுதியாக ஒரு போதக நண்பரிடமிருந்து கேட்டதை உங்களுக்குச் சொல்கிறேன். நீங்கள் ஒரு விளையாட்டு ரசிகரென்று வைத்துக் கொள்வோம், ஒரு சிறந்த விளையாட்டை பார்க்கத் தீர்மானித்திருக்கிறீர்கள். அதற்காக ஒரு சில ஆயிரங்களை செலவழித்து, உயர்ந்த இடத்தைப் பெற்றுப் பார்க்க இருக்கலாம். ஏராளமான பணம் செலவழித்து, மைதானத்திற்கு மிக அருகில் உட்கார்ந்து பார்க்கலாம் இது ஒரு கிறிஸ்தவ வாழ்க்கைக்கு ஒப்பாயிருக்கிறது. ஞாயிற்று கிழமை கிறிஸ்தவர்களுக்கு தேவனை அருகிலே பார்பதென்பது கூடாத காரியம். ஏனென்றால் அதற்கான விலையை அவர்கள் செலுத்தவில்லை. அதே சமயத்தில் தேவன் கிரியை செய்வதை அருகாமையிலிருந்து பார்க்க விரும்புகிறவர்கள் சீடனாயிருக்கிறார்கள். சொந்த விருப்பத்தை நிறுத்தி தேவனுடைய நோக்கத்தை தொடர்வதற்கு தங்களை ஒப்புக் கொடுக்கிறார்கள். இதற்கு அவர்கள் விலைக்கிரயம் செலுத்தியிருக்கிறார்கள். (தங்களையும், தங்களுடைய சித்தத்தையும் பரிபூரணமாக அர்ப்பணித்திருக்கிறார்கள்) அவர்கள் பரிபூரணமாக தங்கள் வாழ்க்கையை அணுவவிக்கிறார்கள். அவர்கள் யாரையம் சந்திப்பதற்கு தயங்குவதில்லை. நீங்கள் விலைக்கிரயமாக செலுத்தியிருக்கிறீர்களா? இயேசுவைப் பின்பற்றுவதற்கு ஆயத்தமாயிருக்கிறீர்களா? அப்படியென்றால் உங்கள் வாழ்க்கை அர்த்தமுள்ளதாக, நோக்கமுள்ளதாக மாறும். இதில் தாழ்ச்சி ஏற்படாது.

Choose Your Mr.Right!!

I chose Red to write this blog and I'm quit sure that you know the reason, right?? Red is a symbol of LOVE... Or Our heart is red.... Or Red Rose is commonly used for romantic agenda... Whatever it is, the content of this blog is important!

Boys always complaint that "It's hard to understand a girl." Or "Me facing hard time to meet my girlfriend's needs". Is it really hard to understand girls or are they too demanding? For a decade the war between Boys and Girls took place  and never had an end to it. What's the problem exactly? Who is causing such a situation? How to solve it? So many question marks for the never ending war, BOYS vs GIRLS!

Alright! Choosing life partner is the hardest thing in life, which will determine your future life. Love is an unexpected agenda in life and Marriage is factor of high expectation. Those who are travelling on it, knew it! 


For Christians will pray and seek for God's guidance. The most faithful followers will fast and pray to know God's will in finding their Mr.Right! When we hear it verbally, we might think its easy but it's not as easy as we think it is. The hardest thing in life is to convince our heart, mind and also our expectation. 


So, those who are in confusion, please be patient and think many times before say Yes to one. I have seen 8 years old loving couples, who were divorced few years after they get married. Or strangers who get married without knowing each other live under a roof for 30 - 40 years. So, its depends on the couple and also individual. 


Accept the life as it comes ; Fight the battle with faith and fear of God!

Praise The Lord.

Everyone believes that God speaks to us through Bible verses and I think it's true. God reveal secrets, truths, sharing in many ways and I think the most common one is through Bible verses. Lord's words (Bible Verse) has mighty power to heal us from any pain. God talked to me in a way as well. I've been going through a lot recently in my life and God is pampering, guiding, talking to me in many ways and His words are my medicine all the time. FACEBOOK.... BYEBYE!

I heard my friend was talking about "THE CLOSURE OF FACEBOOK", the world's most visited site and owned the highest number of members. It is sad but at the same time, feel relief too. I feel like myself addicted to the social network too much. I read the news on World News Website. "Mark Zuckerberg is giving up Facebook. Why? The reason is simple : Hard to maintain the most visited social network."

Nothing like that happened. It's been months since the announcement was made but still many are dating with FB until now and I'm pretty sure the users are increasing as well ....
When I decide to deactivate my Facebook account, unfortunately, my friends were not really happy with about it, They are active in the particular social network and that's the only way for me to contact them. I came to conclusion, where I will an invisible user.
